Where to start with this fashionable bridal shower shoot by Alexa of Long Aisle Events and Austin Trenholm?! The balloons, the venue, or how about that killer Lavish Alice jumpsuit that (no pun intended) jumpstarted Alexa’s inspiration for the whole thing. With fuchsia and pink shades inspired by essie nail polish (flowerista, to be exact), she enlisted a group of industry talents who all had the same goal—to create something they’d never made before.
Pro tip: An industrial, minimal space like Haus 820 is a match made in heaven for a party like this, because the bold colors don’t have to compete with anything else and pop against the white walls + concrete floors.
Alexa explains, If you’re looking to create a similar look, my advice is don’t be afraid of color—choose one element that has a lot of the colors you’re looking for and then tie other features back into that one. For example, I used the napkin as my ‘tie back’ element. Because the floral napkin had so many colors, I was able to use those colors in the chair covers, on the two different chargers, in the confetti balloon, and on the ceremony arch and even though the shades of purple are different, it didn’t clash because those colors always tied back into the napkin.
The balloon arch was also adorned with fuchsia blooms and eucalyptus by Florist Fire.
Even the jewelry in this shoot is crazy cool, huh? This ring is from Adina Mills, who creates mega jewelry from raw gems.
Alexa + the team also intentionally choose a color palette that can be translated across the seasons. So if your bridal shower is in the fall, but you’re obsessed with vibrant hues, you can still tie it all together with a few darker accents + seasonal details.
Such a cute shot! And what happened next was totally unplanned…
The balloon was so over that Florida heat!
Have to give a little shoutout to Style Hair & Makeup on the bride-to-be’s beauty look, too. So, so good, right? Thanks to the crew below for these whimsical party ideas!
