Not the Vegas party type? A couple months back Rosie from Simply Rosie Photography and Jessie from One Plus One Design were discussing how bachelorette parties don’t always have to be a wild night on the town. From that conversation the idea was born to create a cozy bachelorette party that was a bit off the beaten path. The focus – good friends, great food and relaxing in the coziness of the outdoors and each other. They gathered a handful of their favorite local vendors and made their colorful vision come to life. Eat it all up, there’s lots to get inspired by!
To set the mood for the day One Plus One Design created quilt inspired invites that showcased a cute and clever illustration of “Olive”, the mobile shop + trailer that served as their backdrop. Those cute bridesmaid button sets were made by One Plus One Design and can be bought here.
Can we be invited next time? This party looks like the ultimate bonding experience for a bride and her gal pals.
This little trailer is no big Bertha, she’s a rolling vintage shop named, Olive! Want to know what she looks like inside? Check out Oh So Lovely Vintage’s blog for a peek.
Jenna Rae of Jenna Rae Cakes added flavour to the day by guiding everyone through a DIY cake decorating party. To top off their cakes the ladies at Weddings in Winnipeg created glitter animals (you can see the DIY tutorial from Martha Stewart here) a pom pom straw and stick toppers.
We hope to see more from this talented bunch! Thanks ladies!
