When Carly and Dan began planning their wedding, they knew they wanted to have a small, intimate event that felt less like a wedding and more like a formal dinner party. They wanted to make sure their party felt uniquely New York, but also summery, and also wanted to stick to their budget. They wanted their families to mingle, and to share their marriage with the people closest to them. They chose the rooftop deck at the Gramercy Park Hotel (which is a completely amazing space) and even though it rained all day, the glass roof made the whole experience perfect and romantic.
We’re pretty comfortable saying that this wedding achieved everything they hoped for. It’s so perfectly sophisticated and intimate and stylish. And they chose some of our favorite vendors, which never hurts.
soooo cute!
Mmmmm. Black and white. There are so many ways to make classic new. Like, hire Anna Bond for a twist of beautiful whimsy.
Holy amazing room full of light bulbs!! Worth throwing a party at the GPH just for these photos, no?
Beautiful wedding, Carly & Dan!
