Cori and E.B. planned a classic city wedding at San Francisco’s City Hall. We do love a good city hall wedding, San Francisco in particular. They’re city people who love architecture, signage, hotels, bridges, and brick. They live in LA, but retreat to SF for weekend getaways which gives them a sweet romantic attachment to the city. And it is a beautiful city… perfect for a modern, vintage-inspired wedding.
Cori and EB area both graphic designers so of course they made their invites themselves.
For favors, they gave guests (along with a goody bag stacked with quintessential SF treats) vintage SF postcards from the forties packaged in glassine bags. The best part was reading correspondence the original recipients had read about a friend’s trip to SF way back then.
After their intimate ceremony at City Hall, the wedding party hopped on a classic cable car (tour guide included!) and headed to the historic Tadich Grill for toasts and lunch.
Where EB surprised Cori with a vintage rolex on a plate of oysters. Cute wedding pressie!
They they headed to Crissy field for some outdoor photos with the bridge in the background, and then onto the Mission for more photo ops. Since their whole wedding party (guests included) was 10 people, they had plenty of time to talk and enjoy the day with everyone.
Finally, they finished the evening with a big meal at RN74.
What a fun and memorable way to spend your wedding day…touring the city you love with your closest family and friends.
