Happy Monday, readers! We’ve got a lovely bunch of photos for you today from Salma & Ziyaad (Zee)’s quaint tea party-themed wedding. It’s romantic, cozy and feminine (lots of pink!) with loads of DIY and homemade touches. Of course, no tea party is complete without baked goods, and honestly, the desserts in this alone are enough to put us over the edge.
Let’s begin!
These gorgeous invites were hand-stitched, water colored and stamped by Mom & younger sister.
Few things in life are more whimsical than a rope swing. And how stunning does Salma look? Love all those fabulous accessories – the jeweled sandals, fabric flower in the hair (made by the bride’s sister), ah, so pretty.
The postcards hanging in the window are a simple yet brilliant addition, guests “mailed” their notes to the couple using a wooden letterbox (made by dad) in lieu of a guestbook. That’s a cute idea right there.
The tabletop details are amazing – soda pop escort cards inspired by our diy tutorial, glass bottles wrapped in paper doilies, twine and ribbon. Never underestimate the power of a single carnation!
Here come the desserts. Macaroons, mini-cakes, and more…Salma & Zee are major foodies & sent guests home with a unique favor – a recipe book filled with their faves.
A seriously beautiful wedding for a seriously beautiful couple. Congratulations, Salma & Zee!
