We constantly see new, fun ideas around the webs using washi masking tape. The cute colors and patterns are so inspiring and the fact that it’s tape makes it so easy to apply to any project! Here’s a little sample of what we’ve seen around recently:
It makes a great addition to invites and paper projects, you can use it for garland and bits of colorful detail, or wrap bottles or votives or even boxes.
You can buy Japanese masking tape in loads and loads of places, like Etsy, Happy Tape, and Uncommon Goods. And the manufacturer MT has a great gallery full of more projects on their site.
And there’s always different kinds of tape too, like that neat coppery mylar stuff similar to the tape that Peggy used to tie up a box. We also found this super cool neon highlighter tape and pretty crepe paper tape. Both could be awesome for a project.
