We’ve got the prettiest Southern wedding to share today, shot by the ever-fabulous team at Our Labor of Love. We guarantee you’ll be blown away by Andrea & Thad’s colorful and whimsical Atlanta affair – one part amazing venue, two parts DIY brilliance, all parts beautiful (oh yeah, an enormous dose of sweetness thrown in by the completely cute and obviously meant-for-each-other bride & groom).
Designer Ashley Meaders helped by creating unique and colorful DIY elements like the bold fabric table numbers, seating card table, and fantastic flowy cloth chandeliers, and Amy Osaba worked her magic with the absolutely showstopping flowers. BTW… you are not going to want to miss the amazing suspended wooden flower box (yeah.), so keep on reading.
(And here’s a good bookmarking photo for all you Pinteresters):
Andrea’s super pretty hair flower was handmade by Chelsea Petaja, who also made up those adorable pink puffs for the bridesmaid and flower girls’ hair.
Completely smitten with the waterfall of fabric ribbons down the center of the table. Isn’t it so dreamy?
Flowers hanging from the rafters – AMAZING. Seriously, hats off to Amy Osaba. There need to be way more suspended wooden flower boxes in weddings, we think. What a spectacular and unique way to display floral arrangements.
As far as the tables, they tried to stay away from any over-the-top arrangements, opting for individual ‘big blooms’ scattered about. Such a simple and pretty result.
That venue (Kings Plow Art Center in Atlanta) is a big, big winner. You can’t go wrong with all that rustic charm.
And for the cutest wedding exit in history, the brother of the bride surprised the ice-cream-loving newlyweds with an ice cream truck. After grabbing a couple cones, Andrea & Thad took off in an old red Ford pickup truck, complete with “Just Married” sign made by friends. Sometimes those old traditions really are the cutest.
Simply gorgeous! Congrats to Andrea & Thaddeus – thanks so much for letting us share your day!
