Much to the amusement of many people that have nicknamed these two Kit and Kaboodle, Girl Kit, Boy Kit, Kit Squared, and the Kits, these two lovebirds, at the end of the day, really are just Kit & Kit. Their intimate and casual wedding took place in one of Australia’s premiere vineyards in the Yarra Valley – where oak trees line walkways, and the scent of ready-to-pick vines taunt guests with dreams of overflowing vino. It’s sweet, classy and just what we need to start a new week!
Two musicians from Baker Boys Band played the acoustic version of “Dela” by The Beautiful Girls as Kit walked down the aisle, and “My Happiness” by Powderfingers once they’d been announced husband and wife.
Florist Kate Main, of Soil Flowers, kept the decor neutral by bringing in vintage glass bottles to hold mint leaves and placed outdoor plants in vintage household items. Balls of twine that were set up next to blocks of wood were the perfect touch of classy + rustic, and softened the barn area, where the reception took place.
Throughout the night guests were presented with 3 different “fork and talk” options – noodle boxes with mini gourmet meals – something substantial to eat along with canapé type deserts.
Congratulations Kit Squared!
