Happy first day of December everyone! In honor of the holiday season already buzzing in the air, we thought we’d share a few of our favorite holiday party ideas, starting with Tartan. This theme gets us feeling all warm and cozy inside.
When it comes to winter fashion it’s all about layering and bundling up. Throw on a plaid scarf and mix it with a contrasting plaid blazer. Or, why not pack a blanket and find the perfect spot in the park for a little romantic picnic. Check out this guide from Note to Self to find out what you’ll need. Okay, this is a bit over the top, but seriously love the drama of a big chandelier mixed with an everyday object coated in strips of plaid. Makes us want to sacrifice a few old plaid shirts and cover a chair or a mantel or maybe even a staircase. MAC cosmetics created “A Tartan Tale” themed holiday party for their 2010 product launch.
