Super excited to share this wedding with you for a couple of reasons, one being that it gives us the opportunity to thank all of you for being so amazing. When Jessmy told us she started an Etsy shop because of the overwhelming response she received from selling her wedding items in our Marketplace, we wanted to hug her. So thank you! And now the vibrant wedding of Jessmy + Andy – there are glittery shoes and mint dresses to look at!
Mint dresses, Monique Lhuillier, BHLDN sparkly peep toe heels…pretty overload!
Gorgeous invitation suite by Prim and Pixie.
From Jessmy: Although, traditionally, being Indian brings to mind, lots of color, luxurious fabrics and gold/silver, it represented only part of who I had grown into and who we were as a couple. Shades of ivory, beige, burlap and dull gold helped to echo the Japanese essence of simplicity that represented the years of our lives in Japan. The scarfs that the groomsmen wore, the dinner table linens and burlap runners, single bud vases, latte dahlias, white freesia’s and ivory stocks all represented the Japanese sensibility of subtlety and textural minimalism. It was our Wabi – Sabi.
All the draping fabric you see on the arbor are antique saris that Jessmy’s mother found in India.
Their escort cards were strung across a door they’d found at an antique shop that they repainted and distressed.
They captured multiple cultures and tied them into the romantic vineyard landscape perfectly. Congratulations Jessmy + Andy!
