It might be a little obvious that we’re trying to hold on to Spring as long as we can with today’s posts, but can you blame us? Flowers are one of the best things about this season. And lots o’ flowers does this wedding have. From the moment guests received Lindsay + Will’s custom Rifle Paper Co. wedding invitations with it’s cute floral border to the incredible floral garland at their ceremony, this wedding was blooming with the most colorful arrangements. Meg of La Partie Events created something unique and intimate with a classic California feel perfect for a wedding at The Villa.
Right, isn’t that garland something else? The dark purples, bright pinks, peach, orange, and yellow accents are such a romantic combo.
La Partie Events created two unique centerpieces for the tables. One was a large wood box filled with dahlias, peonies, ranunculus, zenias, succulents, and berries and the other had three different arrangements, which included a little bird vase that coordinated with the swallows’ story of the mission.
Will and I collect magnets from our travels together, so for our favors we found small Spanish tiles that we turned into magnets and wrapped in boxes with a note to guests about our collection and our hope that the magnet serves as a reminder of their weekend with us. We also used these favors as place cards at the tables and tied the individual nametags to the boxes with different colored ribbon based on the individual guest’s entrée choice. It is fun going to friends’ houses and seeing the magnets on their refrigerators.
Topping it all off with the sweetest of sweet tables!
Congratulations Lindsay + Will!
