The stereotype that Californians are laid back, go to the beach a lot, and have palm tree views, definitely has some truth to it. It’s a lifestyle that photographer, Swoon by Katie & event designers, Beau & Arrow find themselves most enamored with when they see it pop up in weddings – that effortlessly chic and playful West Coast vibe that makes California weddings so dreamy. That’s what inspired this summery, sun-kissed inspiration shoot. Gourmet popsicles, bright florals, pink skateboards and all!
Using washed pastels, Pitbulls & Posies created dreamy paper elements such as the round menus that fit perfectly into each plate describing all of the yummy California inspired cuisine.
We’re loving how those florals pop against their neutral, laid back looks.
The cake table houses a smaller cake for the cake cutting, but tons of freshly baked donut holes that are the perfect treat for the laidback couple and their guests! Specialty gourmet popsicles are adorned with tags that read “you make me melt like a popsicle on the 4th of July” and “ice-dream” for a humorous detail. Custom popsicles are such a cute way to bring your wedding colors into the treats.
