Instead of picking a specific theme (as they’d always found themselves doing in the past), Charlie & Olivia, Prim & Pixie and La Boheme Events challenged themselves with creating a conceptual bride & groom and desiging around their lives and personalities. The concept (of which we think turned out so pretty and unique) tells the story of a bride who is an artist and a groom who is a lawyer. They meet in downtown Los Angeles on a warm summer evening in a hip bar and bond over their mutual affinity of flea markets & art history…
He is particularly fond of the industrial revolution and she, a bohemian at heart, loving everything about the 70s. In planning their personal, detail driven wedding, the groom keeps in mind they want both a classy party, but also one that reflects the true artist in her.
According to onelove photography this bride is the embodiment of the bride called ‘Lady Libre’ ™. She doesn’t color inside the lines, you can’t fence her in, she doesn’t fit into any one style category, she loves bright accents and exaggerated, cheeky details, she embraces a feminine aesthetic in the most eclectic way, her sense of sophistication is laid back, she doesn’t take herself too seriously especially at her wedding, and she’s pulled-together, yet super care-free.
And it gets better! Check out the behind-the-scenes video shot by Fruitful Films:
