Recreating a childhood memory really is a good theme to entertain a wedding. Especially when you can schedule out an entire day of petting zoo fun, fishing and a personal bluegrass concert. When Leslie realized that playing home run derby, riding tractors and camping on the farm were some of her best memories, she decided to do it up in Illinois. With well over 100 in attendance, a rad customized flag with their names in calligraphy, pig races, an incredible corn field ceremony, and the lovely Heidi of Our Labor of Love there to capture it all, Leslie + Lloyd succeeded.
Leslie’s cousin, Erica Loesing aka one of our favorite designers, created all the hand-painted signs (including that flag!), escort cards, and table numbers.
Leslie’s mom is an amazing decorator, so all the tablecloths, vases, china, and items in the vignettes came from her collection, found at antique malls and flea markets in Illinois.
It wouldn’t be an epic ending to their weekend without fireworks! Congrats you two!
