We’re going to let this styled shoot fool us into thinking it’s fall because it doesn’t feel the tinsiest like it here in LA. The ladies of CCL Weddings wanted to create the ultimate fall look to celebrate the cool breeze and color changes that make themselves noticed during one of their favorite seasons. Not only did they use oranges and browns, they found ways to add metallic colors into their “Blooming for the next 100 years together!” theme. Fall brides take note. And if you’re looking for Thanksgiving table decor ideas, there’s a lot you can take from this look.
A great part of our shoot was the venue, the Robinson House, located in Pasadena. This beautiful private home has maintained its raw history and beauty of vintage with luscious greens, adding the perfect colors and vibe to our theme.
Mileu Designs arranged gorgeous floral arrangements with Orange Ball Dahlias, Chocolate Cosmos, Scabiosa Pods, Monkey Tails, White Hydrangea, Lissianthus, Spray Roses, Wheat and Maiden Hair Fern.Using the geometric pattern from our invitations we screen printed the pattern onto the table runner to add more texture for the table and a consistent look to the table scape.
Oh how we wish we could be sipping on some warm apple cider right now…
Wanting to keep the flow of our theme of fall and “Growing Old Together,” we decided to top the cake with two rose gold mini rocking chairs with our couple’s initials on it.
Thanks to all the creative folks below for sharing new ideas with us! We’re especially loving all the metallic touches!
