Emily + Drew are in love with California. The coastline, the purples, oranges and pinks seen daily in the sunsets and sunrises, the laid back ethos. Everything they’ve come to grow up with and love was exactly what they wanted to share with all 150 of their guests. There was a heavy focus on the handcrafted, both in water colors (the invites, bridesmaid dresses, escort cards, table no’s) and on wine (red wine vinegar favors, wine bottle glass vessels). The look and feel of their wedding was refreshing, so colorful, and beautifully captured by Nancy Neil.
Emily’s bridal bouquet recipe: dusty miller, apricot dahlias, succulent blossoms, blushing bride, grevillea, pampas grass.
From engagement to wedding day, it was just short of 6 months. Everyone said we were crazy to do it so fast but we both knew there was no other way. Convincing my parents to trek 150 guests up a treacherous 10 mile hill to the middle of nowhere was the biggest hurdle but it was well worth it for the outcome!
Loving how secluded their celebration felt. So special. Congratulations Emily + Drew!
