There are two awesome reasons for having a brunch wedding: bloody marys & donuts. Right? Maybe that’s why Sarah + Jake decided on a brunch wedding. Or maybe it had something to do with the three months they had to plan. Either way these two had fun with their celebration, adding pretty pink details wherever possible. And Abbey Moore definitely had a sweet time capturing their lively personalities and all the details Sarah designed herself, from the ombre escort cards to jars of herbs on the table.
We just love this idea. They had a “pin a vacation on the map” guestbook so guests could recommend places for them to visit and why.
A bit of advice from Sarah:
You may have heard this advice before, but I think it deserves to be repeated: relax and enjoy it! I planned our wedding in 3 months time, bought my dress without trying it on (prepaid & non-refundable) and allowed our bridal party to basically wear whatever they wanted. In the end, it couldn’t have worked out better. I didn’t dwell on these things and, in turn, planning was a breeze!
