Hope you all had a fabulous Fourth yesterday! We figured plenty of you guys and gals would be taking advantage of the long weekend to shoot some engagement pics, so we thought we’d share some inspiration with this fun and quirky county fair engagement session from Look Here Photography. It’s pretty obvious that Rachel + Eric had a whirlwind of fun with this one—playing the games, riding all the rides, and of course, chowing down on all that delicious fair food.
What a fun pair these two must be!
From Rachel… Growing up in the small town of Greenville, Ohio, I absolutely adored visiting the county fair. I mean, it was THE place to be. I moved from Ohio to Milwaukee in the summer of 2008, where I ended up falling in love with the city and my next-door neighbor, Eric. While I adore Milwaukee and am certain it’s the perfect place for us to get married, that small-town Ohio girl in me desperately wanted to incorporate my hometown roots into my wedding. And then it hit me: Pay homage to my hometown in the best way possible—have our engagement photos taken at the fair!
After describing my county-fair vision to Amber of the incredible Look Here Photography, she was immediately on board. Throughout the night, we visited a fun house, a merry-go-round, the Ferris wheel, played a water-gun game, climbed into a vintage photo booth, and even got dirty in the cow barn. We also stuffed our faces with delicious fair food. Let’s just say by the end of the night we were full, exhausted, and we all knew we had caught some incredible photos of a night of fun.
