After walking the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara event space for the first time, Jeffrey had a vision of exactly what he wanted for his wedding to Roger. That vision consisted of six long feasting tables, glass votives, magnolia leaves, orchids (which Roger handpicked and grew at home for two months leading up to the wedding btw!) and so many other thoughtful and well-placed details. The total picture of taste, elegance, and class. Linda Chaja captured it all just perfectly…
Jeffrey says, I went with wrap dresses from twobirds Bridesmaid for the girls as they all had different body types. The slate gray was an awesome color as it really played up the masculinity of the wedding, yet was feminine enough to make them feel elegant. Since the wedding, one bridesmaid has worn it to a ball in Philadelphia and the other had it hemmed to knee-length for a summer dress.
J + R make a dapper pair all right.
The cutest ring bearer ever!
I used old urns that I salvaged from an estate in Montecito, CA for the base to all the orchids. I also purchased all the mismatched mercury votives as I wanted the tables flooded with candlelight. Everyone looks so good in candlelight, right?!
I had a chair reserved for Roger’s mother, who is no longer with us, placed in the front row with her picture dressed with flowers and magnolia swag. Once the ceremony concluded, the chair was then placed in the reception for dinner with us.
Congrats Jeff + Roger!
