It’s pretty obvious from just this first photo that Paula McManus wanted to create a different kind of bridal shoot. One with no white dresses nor bright colors. She photographs to tell a story, and this one is entirely romantic! Her inspiration came from this quote, “one day long ago, the sea asked the city if it wanted to go out for a drink, they spent the whole night dancing and fell in love with the way they were different, yet the same”. From there a story of a city bride in the romantic atomosphere and beauty of the sea came to light.
So dramatic, we love it!
At first it looks like the table is on a bed of leaves, but they’re sea shells. So pretty!
Something about mercury glass on the beach… it just goes perfectly together, doesn’t it?
Bouquet recipe: cream roses, black dahlias, white veronica, cream hypericum berries, cream stock, mint, white peonies, white larkspur, origanum, and gold grevillea.
Such pretty ideas… and we love the model’s fishtail braid! Thanks to everyone involved for sharing your creative work with us.
