Having a wedding on Thanksgiving weekend is kinda genius. Everyone has already taken the time off from work, people are in full gathering mode, and we’re pretty sure you don’t have to twist anyone’s arm to mingle and celebrate your special day with a spiced cocktail in hand. Minus the typical decor and color palette of autumnal hues, pumpkins, turkey and cornucopia, of course. So if you’re a 2014 fall couple, take note. OR you could also pin these pretty images from Izzy Hudgins Photography as Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving inspiration for tomorrow (or next year)!
Love it when centerpieces are easy to recreate on your own. Grab cans of gold & silver spray paint, all those empty wine bottles, and go to town.
And if you’re trying to steer clear of autumnal colors, use some of that spray paint on a stem of those mini pumpkins.
Whipped Cider Martini Recipe:
2oz. apple cider
2oz whipped cream vodka
1oz. brandy
1oz. butterscotch liqueur
Dash of cinnamon and/or nutmeg
Shake with ice, pour and garnish with a “teeny” pumpkin or apple slice
Alright, Cakies. That’s it for us. We’re off to set our tables and prep food for tomorrow. We hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving!
