It didn’t take long for this black tie stunner, photographed by Annie McElwain, to catch our eye. That bouquet alone is something else, isn’t it? But then again we’re talking about getting married in San Francisco here. There’s a picturesque spot on almost every corner of the city. And if you’re going to pick a venue with one of the best views of the bay, Legion of Honor is a beautiful place to start. And if you’re going to do a black tie affair, fashion is key, and Ashley (a fashion model), knows how to do it right.. while also honoring her Chinese culture. Take a peek!
Ashley’s day job as a fashion model came in handy when it came to what her ‘maids would wear and accessorize with. She had a friend loan out the designer clutches her bridesmaids carried instead of bouquets.
These are some seriously stylish bridesmaids, with their black gowns, fur boleros, designer clutches and orchids in their hair.
We love how her bouquet of red orchids, roses, dahlias, and fountain grass looks against her silk gown.
Their cake was made up of two heavenly flavors: Earl Grey tea with lemon buttercream and almond with caramelized pears and cream-cheese buttercream. Sounds amazing!
You can view more of their wedding on BRIDES.
