Gosh, this seaside shoot from Michelle March Photography, Better Half Weddings, and Cloud 9 Bakery just puts you in a dream state, doesn’t it? Maybe it’s because we just re-watched Splash for the 50th time this weekend (gotta love a young Tom Hanks), but we’re all about the marine color story, shipwrecked relics, and mermaid-esque style this bride is sporting. It’s raw, airy, and so serene.
When Kristen from Cloud 9 Bakery first came up with the concept for this shoot, she let one quote in particular guide her: “Eternity begins and ends with the ocean’s tides.” Pretty romantic, yes?
We’re def a little jelly of this gal’s mermaid locks. Prettiest hair ever!
This cake would look spot-on at almost any beach wedding. Love.
Kristen says, I knew from the beginning that I wanted to hold the shoot at this secret gem in my community: a small fishing and kayak launching point on Biscayne Bay. It’s a tranquil area where time stands still and local wildlife such as white egrets, blue herons, fish, and the occasional crocodile can be spotted. You can completely picture a mermaid sitting upon the rocky shore while daydreaming among the waters.
Thanks to all the peeps below for sharing this shoot with us!
