Lucas + Courtney’s wedding is so pretty we can hardly take it! We mean that in a good way of course… Best way possible in fact. These two wanted a rustic vibe without going country, so they introduced luxe elements into the outdoor setting. They also wanted to honor Courtney’s late grandmother, whose favorite color was purple—hence the color palette of dusty plum and moss. Weddings by Nancy made it all come together and Austin Gros was there to capture the big day…
Courtney worked with her talented pal Helena Ecija to design the invites. All of the artwork is hand-drawn!
Cutest little ring bearer ever? We think so…
There are those luxe details we were talking about…
Music is a big thing for Lucas + Courtney, so they chose all their ceremony songs with a lot of care. The bridal party walked down the aisle to “Om Nashi Me” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and recessed to “Home,” also by Edward Sharpe. Courtney walked down the aisle to “Saeglopur” by Sigur Ros, which has been her very fave band since she was 17.
Courtney says, For the dancing, we chose a DJ over a live band and don’t regret it for a minute. The dance floor was packed until the night ended!
Let’s end on that yummy cake shot, shall we? Congrats L + C!
