Cornelia + Paul’s wedding is srsly the cutest. Right down to every last hand-cut, hand-folded, and hand-crafted DIY detail! Yeah, these two got pretty crafty in the 6 months leading up to their big day. The key idea was to make all the décor themselves, with oversized paper flowers as the main features. We also think it’s pretty cool that they got hitched in a ‘luxury trailer park,’ full of fun, artist-decorated airstreams. You don’t hear that one everyday. Here’s a look at it all from Dear Heart Photos…
In case you can’t tell, Cornelia + Paul both love them some foxes, and included lots of foxy details in their wedding decor and stationary.
Cornelia’s green and airy bouquet recipe: milkwood, bachelor’s balls, echeveria elegance, chincherinchees, succulents, and air plants.
The dress designer? Cornelia’s very talented fashion designer friend!
Paper flowers, galore! Cornelia says, Paul and I (along with our close friends, Carin and JP) made all the paper flowers, pinwheels, origami foxes, confetti, seating chart, paper menu’s etc. Our flat was in total chaos for 6 months prior to the wedding, as we hosted a number of craft days with our friends. The parties were filled with laughter, glue gun fumes, and sparkling wine, because the intention was always to have fun!
Some advice from the bride: Enjoy the planning of your wedding. It’s fun to spend time and brainstorm with your fiancé. Accept and ask friends and family to help, especially with DIY projects! Also, only pay a 50 percent deposit for services prior to the wedding—we learned this the hard way. Lastly, try to relax and enjoy!
Congrats lovebirds!
