Vintage, masculine, and smelling of whiskey. Yep, that was the inspiration behind Brady + Kyle’s farm wedding in Columbus, Ohio. They’re midwest transplants, vintage collectors, and founders of a distillery. Makes sense now, yes? We must say, we sure loved this creative take on a classic all-American theme. Of course, a really good rain story helps too. Find the story + Ely Brothers photos below…

The wedding was a collection of “found” items and antiques.
Brady’s favorite memory: There was a moment when we began to share our vows while standing in the back of this old Corvair truck, and it started to pour. We jumped out of the truck, grabbed our parents’ hands, and ran under the tent and stood amongst our guests. We finished the ceremony under the tent, soaked, but surrounded by the warmth of our family and friends. The rain created a level of intimacy that we could have never planned for or expected.
Love this shot, don’t you?
Everyone pitched in… We traded talents, time, and a little treasure to help offset the cost of the wedding… and showcased the work of our closest partners that have made Columbus a welcome home for us since moving here from Seattle.
A dream is right!
Congrats, Brady + Kyle!
