Los Angeles natives Allie + Henry live in New York now, but wanted to share their love of Austin with their fam and friends for their big day. With classic details and all the fresh outdoor space one could dream of, they couldn’t have picked a better place to tie the knot. So happy that The Nichols beautifully captured all the rustic goodness on camera at the Barr Mansion (aka the first-ever certified USDA Certified Organic events venue).
Beaming with Southern charm.
We are laid back Californians and our approach to planning the wedding was to create a fun romantic party. Everyone keeps telling us that it felt so “us”, so I think we achieved what we set out to do.
Allie says, The best money we spent was hiring a wedding planner. It would have been really hard to plan a destination wedding without her. She was also totally invaluable the day of; I didn’t have to do a thing except have fun! And their trick for saving $? A Sunday wedding = less expensive venue, and better airfare/hotel rates for guests.
A spirited sendoff…
Congrats to Henry and Allie!
