If you were as enamored with this morning’s Horizon Hotel rehearsal dinner in Palm Springs as we (still) are, then you’ll be reeeally excited about their big day. As you can imagine, Christine & Jordan’s Ace Hotel wedding was even more gorgeous, filled with the most romantic yet understated colors, chic details, and lots of amaze décor crafted by the bride herself.
Thanks to Edyta Szyszlo Photography, who C + J found here on 100lc (yay!) and fell in love with right away.
Dying over these dresses! Christine’s is a jeweled, cap sleeve Reem Acra gown with pleated twists and a flowing silk skirt, while the bridesmaids’ dresses are Adrianna Papell – a perfect little collection, yes?
That’s one good-looking wedding party!
Kind of amazed by all the stunning floral arrangements so far. Kudos to Honey & Poppies on these beauties!
Too cute!
They went for a modern, boho-chic we vibe, and the Ace Hotel provided the right aesthetic before they even began decorating. Christine says they also chose the venue for the fun environment + great food.
The bride is a huge DIYer, already armed with all the crafting tools she needed, so she got right to work on an impressive list of projects: table signage, votives, garlands, table runners + this assignment board (which now lives in their home!), ceremony curtain, invites and other paper products, gift bags, candles, and cufflinks.
If you aren’t a crafty person, don’t use your wedding to learn! It can be really stressful. Take it from someone that is a crafty person, I was even outsourcing towards the end to get projects (that I was originally really excited about) off my plate. At a certain point you just have to sit back and let the wedding happen and enjoy it. If you get wrapped up in all the tasks, you can miss a lot of it. I made myself stop crafting/planning two weeks out, and had to trust that I did a good enough job up until that point. Everything was lovely, and even things I stressed about… spelling the word “rehearsal” wrong in the gift bag itinerary, were just silly and didn’t matter!
Cheers to the happy couple!
