If you’ve scanned the images already, we know what you’re thinking: A second gold cake, and it’s only Tuesday?! Makes you wonder what Wednesday will bring, doesn’t it? Photogs Celia and Jorge of Pabelona Studio gave a nod to the vibrant colors and impeccable details in Peruvian culture with this one. But they also wanted it to be as elegant as it gets, with luxurious elements. They teamed up with Miranda Hattie Events to bring their bold vision to life, and we gotta say: it’s pretty incredible…
They chose a chic wedding gown + colorful Peruvian skirts. Oh, and tassel earrings… Yes, please!
Celia says, I’m very lucky to have been raised in such a culturally vibrant country like Peru. I was exposed to incredible craftsmanship in our clothing and the accompanying accessories such as gorgeous embroidered skirts and stunning jewelry. I wanted to capture the essence of Peru in the context of a wedding so that I could combine these colorful textures but with elegant gold accents. And show that colorful can also be elegant with just the right amount.
The florals were a mix of rich colors and textures, inspired by wool and alpaca weaving and native flowers. Celia tell us that some of the blooms have also been used as dyes and for their healing properties (celosia, monarda, passion vines, amaranthus).
Um… Srsly can’t think of a more enchanting place to sit down for a meal right now. Breathtaking!
Miranda’s vibe for the design: eclectic, with hints of decadence.
