We’re so excited to share the launch of our first video class with Creative Bug today! A few months ago Jillian and Kristina took a trip up to San Francisco and filmed three fun classes with the amazing crew up there. The first two classes will be released this fall, starting our DIY Bridesmaid Bouquet class that is officially live this morning. Fist bumps all around!
We enlisted the talents of one of our favorite bay area florists for the first two classes, Emily of Shotgun Floral Studio. She has such a lovely way with texture and color, and her weddings are always so gorgeous. We had to have her expertise on set!
Aren’t those straw flowers divine? So perfect for this time of year as we leave summer behind and move into the magic of fall.
We’re starting with the bouquet class but the boutonnieres are not far behind. Creativebug will be releasing these cuties in a few weeks too.
You can pop over to our instructor profile on Creativebug if you like (and check out the rest of the talented instructors they work with too), or just jump right to our DIY Bridesmaid Bouquets class and get started. Even if you’re not making bouquets right this minute, the tips about color and texture and form would be so helpful in creating lovely floral arrangements for the upcoming fall and winter holidays. We’ll definitely be putting the skills Emily shared with us to good use this season!
If you’re not familiar with Creativebug yet, you really should be! They host hundreds of informative, creative, and inspiring video classes taught by expert crafts-people in every specialty. From sewing and knitting, to paper crafts, wedding ideas (duh!), and even holidays. It’s an amazing resource for anyone, like us, who loves getting their hands dirty in the very best way.
Happy making!
