It’s always so inspiring to hear about a shoot that came together off of one simple vision. For today’s inspo, that vision happened as Rachel of Rachel Leigh Photography explored the back roads of Natchitoches, LA and came across a cotton field. An editorial was born: cotton, gold, and the glowing light of sunset. She met a woman named Lacy who let her use her family’s field, and hooked up with talented locals to pull everything together. Thanks to Rachel for sending these shots our way!
Oh yes, we’re seeing her vision now…
Rachel tells us, Mandy Cathey Weddings & Events provided all floral arrangements, and did an incredible job. Gold succulents, baby’s breath, and lots of greenery really polished everything off. Mandy is so talented. Yes, she did say gold succulents!
The bride + her ‘maids wore a mix of glittery Reem Acra + Zac Posen.
Rachel painted the pinecones + offered up her dining table, and Pursuing Eden Vintage Rentals took care of the rest, with mismatched china and antique chairs.
Makeup By Keilee Jane created soft but polished curls for the girls’ hair.Roxie Pinder, a baker from Montgomery, LA created the perfect cake that tasted as good as it looked! A pale pink colored buttercream icing was the perfect look. The two-tiered ruffled icing was to die for.
Wouldn’t mind a piece of that cake for breakfast!
Thanks to Rachel + everyone below for inspiring us just in time for the weekend!
