Couples are so hands-on with their weddings these days it makes sense that would-be technical things like the registry are becoming more customized. The Zola wedding registry has introduced a ton of great features since we first perused their site over a year ago, and unlike other wedding details (ahem, DIYs, deciding on a venue, etc.)—this one actually saves time + energy. Yes please!
Before you get started, there are a few features you’ll want to know about:
With Zola you can choose the date items are sent out and use their Gift Tracker—a lifesaver for thank yous and scheduling. You can do a virtual exchange if needed to swap your gifts out before sending. Then there’s the iPhone App, which has a barcode scanner + Registry Planner. We recently noticed that the app also has a feature called Blender (aka Tinder for wedding gifts), where you can easily browse their selection!
One of the coolest things is that Zola makes a registry actually fun. You have options to set up gift, experience, and cash funds, and to set up group gifting, plus a bookmarklet so you can add items from anywhere online to your Zola account.
Registering can feel overwhelming, so they’ve curated gifts into starter collections to get you going. They recently teamed up with Molly Sims for a tastemaker collection to inspire your own curating.
The guys at Zola are always coming up with ways to make registries more personal. The #LOVE feature means couples can see all the Instagrams + tweets tagged with your wedding hashtag right from the app, so you have yet another collection of memories to look back on! Sweet, yes?
