Happy Monday, friends! Not gonna lie, today’s Mississippi wedding by Cassidy Carson Photography won’t make it any easier to start the workweek: Our bride + groom had a weekend-long celebration at Anna’s family home, with 130 people at the Friday ceremony and a fab reception, the “Swanky Soiree”, the next day. The plan to split it up came because of Anna’s health complications, so she could rest and enjoy the whole event with Daniel and their loved ones.
The bride wore an illusion high neckline, cap-sleeve blouse made of French Chantilly lace and French silk tulle. Just darling! Her bouquet recipe: white ranunculus, dusty miller, David Austin “Patience” garden roses, White Ohara garden roses and Pashmina garden roses
Anna snagged Cassidy Carson Photography by searching her fave film photographers on Instagram, sifting through hashtags from Erich McVey and Jose Villa’s workshops, for those that had the right feel and location. She even searched #contax645 and #fujifilm—her favorite combo!
Their biggest hurdle was planning with Anna’s health in mind. Her fatigue not only meant the two-day wedding but needing to sit during the ceremony and always having seats nearby. They did a flawless job of working this into the décor, don’t you think?
Parting words, c/o the bride: What I remember most about my wedding are the stolen moments of laughter and teasing after Daniel and I were married where we truly just reveled in the fact that we were now husband and wife. We were truly blessed to get two days to celebrate and enjoy the well wishes, love, and support of our friends and families. The second night we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, which made the moments of shared laughter and joy even more memorable.
