Fresh greenery, simple romantic calligraphy, and subtle sweets make up the recipe for today’s vintage-inspired shoot. Dana + Keren, the gals at Your Wedding Project brought organic, vintage touches to Found and Made Co.’s fresh warehouse space (which is available for studio rentals, Pittsburg creatives!). With a juxtaposition of high industrial windows, cement accents, and metal against the antique sofa + thrifted décor, we’re super into all the charming touches below…
From photogs Dana + Keren:
The perfect stage for a vow exchange was achieved by another ingenious DIY idea: hanging tulle and ribbon, illuminated with strings of bistro lights, along the warehouse’s steel beam using simple magnets creating a soft and romantic backdrop. The concrete candleholders were arranged along the chair rows to bring the same romance to the aisle.
The concrete planters and candleholders also served as the centerpieces of the picturesque table scape. The rustic farm table was decked out in antique silverware, clean white plates, and neutral linens. Beautiful menus and a sprig of yellow mimosas flowers added a pop of color and dimension to the design. Guests sat around the table on cool metal café chairs and cozied up on the beautiful green antique sofa; the contrast made for such stylish and eclectic seating. The heads of the table were meant to seat the Bride and Groom, whose attention would be drawn to by the chic ivory upholstered chairs with a bronze studded detail trim.
A darling bouquet of poppies, tulips, ranunculus, and spray roses for ya.
The team spent an afternoon crafting concrete candleholders and planters for the reception tables with old plastic containers and paper towel rolls as molds. Clever!
