It’s nice to get into the details of a bridal look every now and then, don’t you think? Especially when such details accompany the prettiest wedding updos and dresses. These photos by Ashley Bee celebrate the deets, featuring bridal designer Sara Kim’s accessory line Handmade by Sara Kim:
Kudos to the team on scooping up Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club as a venue for this shoot. Those windows! (Not to mention the train on that dress.)
Sara says, Our 2015 collection was inspired by watercolored florals and branches. I recently began watercoloring as a hobby and a form of meditation so the sketches and paintings that I practiced with really made my imagination turn. Also as a violinist during the day, everything about classical music inspires me in my designs. See the music influence below…
This collection was meant to capture the little handmade details that go into each piece, especially for the classic bride who wants an edgier look and timeless accents.
Hair + makeup artist Sharon Park dreamed up all the swoon-worthy updos…
Check out the hairpiece they designed exclusively for BHLDN, too.
