It all began when stylist Vanessa of Vanessa Noel Events decided to finally make use of a terra-cotta chiminea that she’d been holding on to long after it was broken. The aged fragments and colored layers inspired a styled shoot at Whispering Rose Ranch with warm tones, textures, and contrast. The ranch setting made the best fit, if you ask us.
Thanks to Anna Delores Photography for sending these romantic photos our way.
Alissa Bell Press created an invitation suite set on leather for just a hint of masculinity.Anna says, Here in Southern California, our summer and fall seasons often blend together quite seamlessly… no white after Labor Day doesn’t really apply to us! Vanessa wanted to use terra cotta and layers of neutrals to create a sun-drenched color palette that felt like late summer flowing into fall. We were ecstatic to shoot at Whispering Rose Ranch where the inspiration of terra cotta pottery meshed beautifully with the Spanish revival style of the ranch.

Tea stained gauze napkins for the tabletop…
Those terra cotta bits… Definitely a color palette to inspire.
