Are you guys swamped yet gearing up for Fourth of July? A holiday week is always so rushed but so worth it. You’ll definitely want to make time for this colorful pink editorial Emily Wren sent our way though obvs. She was inspired by Filippo Minelli’s landscape series Silence & Shapes + photographers who use smoke bombs in their work to add a little edge. But instead of going that route, Emily let the smoke inspire a vibrant rustic color pallete perfect for wedding photography.
Emily says, When I connected with Sara from Confetti & Co. she took the idea and ran with it, and brought this shoot to life! We assembled an amazing team of wedding vendors. It was such a pleasure to collaborate with such talented and tasteful professionals! All the details by Ilonka Florals, Hello Bird, BHLDN, and Sweet Elizabeth’s really helped give the shoot depth and beauty. We found our models through Rienhart Agency and when one of them had to cancel, we simply asked our florist Keely to step in (she just happens to be both a florist and a model)! Terrain at Styers felt like the perfect location for this shoot and they were incredibly accommodating, letting us arrive in the morning before they opened so we could set off our smoke bombs!
PA brides, you know Terrain hosts private events, right? Just sayin’!
Beauty in simplicity at its best.
