The weekend is heeeere! Hallelujah. And so are the latest wedding invitation trends a la our friends at Minted, styled up extra gorgeously by Going Lovely. Of course, we’re kicking them off with gold, which is always timeless and trendy at once, especially when paired with chic accents like black stripes and pink.
Alright, on to more pretty paper via these shots by Rahel Menig Photography…
Next up, watercolor has been transformed: swatches of rich, vibrant oil paint are the latest whimsical design and Melanie Severin nailed it.
For awhile we were seeing floral everything and it seems like the obsession has, at least in part, turned to stone textures. Agate, marble—really, any stone with a sleek, organic pattern—are both game. Kaydi Bishop designed these agate wedding invitations. We’re already dreaming up a ton a wedding styles that these could rep, are you?
The aforementioned marble invites by Liz Conley. Très chic.
When we mentioned gold, naturally we meant gold foil. And surrounded by moody and romantic blooms like the ones Gavita Flora whipped up for the shoot. (Foil pressed invites by Chris Griffith.)
A little more oil paint inspo courtesy of Lindsay Megahed’s Mulberry Wedding Invitations. (You’ve gotta see the other custom color options for this one. Stunning!)
Thanks to the team below for sharing the latest wedding invitation trends with us.
Do you guys have any fave trends so far in 2015? We’re all ears.
