It’s so easy to get lost in the darling pinks and whimsical pastels that come with spring and summer weddings. Then we see something like this. And even mid-July, it sinks in: fall is on its way. The colors Bustle Events went with—marsala, turquoise, browns—are perfect for desert bohemian in any season, yet captivating in another sense too. Moody, sultry, dramatic. We love every bit of this story, as captured by The Hearts Haven:
Marina of Bustle Events says, The design concept for this styled shoot began with the colors of marsala and turquoise and a backdrop of the stunning desert wilderness in mind. The look developed into a little bohemian, a little tribal, and a lot of breathtaking details. The neutral colors of Joshua Tree’s cacti and rock formations begged for rich colored details to help show off Mother Nature’s creations.
Joshua Tree is just the best.
One of my favorite parts of the entire shoot was the ceremony “teepee” created by Leaf it to Lexi. The garlands of deep red carnations mixed with branches and grass details came together so perfectly. I did a fun little DIY project with the floating Ojo de Dios that helped bring in something unexpected and different to the look. They were super simple to make, using a few small dowels and yarn.
