Green may not be the first color to come to mind when thinking of a desert inspired color palette, but that’s exactly why we’re crushing on these photos by Rachel Solomon Photography this morning. It’s actually the perfect hue to pay homage to the desert and Mignonne Handmade‘s latest collection of crowns and bridal accessories. Not to mention the dreamiest air plant bouquet.
PS: Check back this morning for a desert wedding at the Ace Hotel to really get the juices flowing!

Jennifer of Mignonne Handmade explains, I was inspired by the soft colors of the southwestern desert. I wanted to use turquoise as it is a significant stone of the southwest and also include all the dusky peaches, pinks and grey purples of the AZ sunset, but with a softer bridal feel. Our new crowns have a thorny yet soft feel, like the plants of the desert. They were heavily influenced by the moonscape of the desert along with all the blossoming softness of the desert in springtime.

Girl has some hair! We’re. In. Love.
