Just look at this photo and tell us that isn’t one of the loveliest blue hues you’ve ever seen. Petals by the Shore took the ‘secret garden’ theme at their lush Virginia venue and brought it to life with every single bloom. Then, Anna of Anna Kardos Photography scooped up each of these deets and paired them with the soft glow of the sun filtering through their garden’s trees. What more does one need? A floral covered vanity + BHLDN dress? Well, there’s that too.
When your bouquet fills a seat of its own you know you’ve got a good florist! Anna says, We donned Kira’s gorgeous red locks with an asymmetrical floral crown of peach ranunculus, garden roses, blue delphinium, and blue thistle. Her bouquet features more of the same florals, as well as, white O’hara garden roses, David Austin Juliet garden roses, French tulips, peach spray roses, seeded eucalyptus, white sweet peas, and dusty miller.
We used details like the vanity, candelabras, and the chair for vintage pieces. Petals by the Shore hung flowers and Spanish moss around the mirror on the vanity and on the back of the chair to create an overgrown look. Our calligrapher chose a muslin scroll and wrote out an actual letter from the bride to her groom. She will be presenting this scroll to him on their wedding day.
Have we mentioned how enamored we are with this color story?
