We’ve got three words for ya: Santorini. Inspired. Wedding. With those words, we closed all our tabs and got lost in Amy Lynn’s photos—it’s no secret that we’re head over heels for Santorini. Inspired by an intimate Mediterranean wedding, Dani of HauteFêtes drew on Greek tradition and one crazy beautiful color palette to create this coastal scene. And you know what? They didn’t even have to leave SoCal.

Deeply inspired by coastal Mediterranean influences which surround us in San Diego, Dani Blasena of HauteFêtes set out to create a shoot that captured the natural beauty and romanticism of an Aegean landscape and its rolling hills. With the talented floral stylings of Layered Vintage and captured beautifully by Amy Lynn Photography, we borrowed from an authentic palette of vivid shades of cobalt blue, cyan, turquoise, and green to reflect the hues of the Mediterranean Sea and sky.

An exquisite dessert table by the The Crimson Cake filled with pistachio and orange blossom scented cookie drops, bowls of cut figs and baklava in brass coupes, macarons, a dripping honey croquembouche, and a two tiered blue and turquoise hand painted watercolor cake that echoes the invitation suite, brings our wedding full circle. As the sun dipped into the ocean, our dreamy shoot came to an end, but for one beautiful day, we were transported to Santorini. We are so deeply grateful to all the vendors involved in bringing this Greek dream to life.
