First things first. That cake. Just too good. (Shoutout to Fancy That Cake for their genius). The color scheme and hints of greenery definitely set the tone for a crisp winter wedding scene right outside a big red barn. But you could probably guess: we’ll for sure be using this as inspiration for our holiday gatherings too… Thanks to Shannon Duggan Photography.
Seriously want to send out some holiday cards with these loopy letters now. Mollie of 1921 was behind the florals, calligraphy, and styling (along with Annie Ems at Home).
A few words about the tablescape… Setting the table was the most challenging part of the day. We wanted to create a classic setting, but with a modern twist. Vintage flow blue plates were elevated on gold chargers with navy linens, and each place setting was topped with individual gold pinecones that held navy place cards adorned with gold calligraphy. Our anchor for the table was a tartan red plaid table runner. We added tall, gold candlesticks and white and gold glittered taper candles to add more of a contemporary feel.
Gold. Glitter. Tartan…. Noted.

A eucalyptus topped vintage car? Kinda the perfect getaway. Congrats on a fantastic shoot!
