Before making each wedding decision, J + S would ask themselves, “Does this feel like us?” and if the answer was yes, it was in. Such a simple concept that translated to a most romantic, elegant celebration captured by Nathan Westerfield. Not to mention they planned the whole thing in 6 months while the bride was already working 50 hours a week. Exactly why enlisting 12th Table on planning, design, + florals was one of their best decisions!

Isn’t Jenilee’s style so timeless?

From the bride…
We wanted it to feel romantic and simple but elegant and special. Colors were chosen in the same way. I knew that if I picked a “palette” rather than 2-3 colors, things would feel more natural. So I went with white, black, natural greens, silver, gold, champagne, off white, light pink, light grey. I think Steven and I strive to have a look that is long lasting. I tried to stray away from trends (though nearly impossible). When it came to any decision, I thought, “Does this look like us?” and if the answer was ‘yes’ I’d go with that. See more of Jenilee’s inspiration on her Pinterest.

Sweet note. Their good friend musician Jacob Montague composed a song for Jenilee to walk down the aisle to, and then recorded it so they can listen to it anytime.

We toured Bloomsbury Farms in February and it was a cold, rainy, foggy day. We thought if it was beautiful with no leaves, cold, and rainy, we couldn’t wait to see what it looked like in the fall. We loved that it was a blank canvas and that we could create the space to be exactly what we wanted, that no two weddings there are the same.
