Has anyone noticed how amaze the wedding cakes so far this year have been? 2016 may just be the year of the epic cake. (Click into a few recent posts here on the blog if ya don’t believe us!) Of course, when the goal is to encourage couples to be bold on their wedding day, complete with diverse color palettes + unique décor like Pearls and Lace Weddings’ was, risks are bound to be taken. And the payoff? Huge!
Thanks to Six Foot Photography for sharing the photos today.
The freedom of gold feathers, the assorted bouquet of wild flowers, and the spirited horses brought the heart of this shoot together. Our real couple, married for a year and a half, inspired us with their devotion to each other and their zeal for adventure. We wanted to inspire brides and grooms to be bold, be unique, and focus on details that are meaningful to your love story. Most of all, cherish your wedding day—it is the start of an amazing journey with your beloved!
The aforementioned color palette of turquoise, gold, deep pinks, and light blues…
So. This cake. Props to Sugar Euphoria on absolutely nailing the theme.
