This indigo wedding inspiration Samantha Broderick Photography shared reminds us just how breathtaking cool tones can be. Blues, greens grays… And it doesn’t have to be coastal either. Based in Utah, the team was actually inspired by the French countryside and a slow, intentional way of life. A pretty spectacular concept to merge with a wedding theme, huh?
Samantha of Samantha Broderick Photography says, I used two model couples, having the ladies’ hair tousled and as natural as possible. I’m in awe of the effortless put-togetherness of French women and think emulating that through makeup remaining natural in appearance was the perfect touch. For the bride, I dressed her in a hand-painted, hand-dyed lace and blue-grey gown to stay in line with the concept of a handmade lifestyle, which is practiced by French women residing in the countryside. For the bridesmaid, I dressed her in a relaxed cream sweater and a free flowing skirt with a cognac leather belt.
Oh Julie Ha Design, we’re kiiinda smitten with your work.
Playing off of the theme of “returning to the earth”, we had each place setting handwritten on cotton paper and placed them in the top of a pomegranate, surrounded by a tablescape rich with florals, various loaves of bread, a hazelnut and chocolate tiered cake, and a spread of dried fruit and cheese. It was a dream seeing a bit of the French countryside come to life in Kamas, Utah.
Blue for the win. Thanks to the guys below for putting everything together…
