Whew! What a week. A major giveaway (you’ve told all your engaged friends, yes?), so many DIY weddings—which you can scroll through the homepage for, and now a series of romantic snaps Krista A. Jones sent over from her seaside wedding shoot with Kruse & Vieira Events. This cake? Wouldn’t start the weekend any other way!
From Kruse & Vieira Events, We always recommend taking cues from your venue for your décor, but for this styled shoot, we could not have planned the color of the sunset at Silver Swan Bayside more perfectly to complement the colors in the tablescape and florals. The lavender, gray, and soft peach ombre in the sky provided the perfect contrast to the sophisticated and moody darker purple hues in the florals.
Wouldn’t expect anyone other than Laura Hooper Calligraphy to dream up this gorgeous, refined calligraphy, which they carried throughout the paper goods and custom wedding crest.
This shoot was a study in balance between richer, darker elements with softer, airier components creating the perfect ambiance of sophisticated romance. Ethereal table linens from La Tavola were grounded with matte black china, sleek gold flatware, and smoky gray stemware. Stone compotes were lightened with loose, wispy florals by Petal and Print including a stunning mix of purple ranunculus, tree peonies, Early Grey rose, dark scabiosa to name a few.
The elegant gift boxes from Marigold & Grey are loaded with goodies like tea, honey, and buttery cookies.
