You read our post about the launch of designer Justina Blakeney’s new line of stationery with Wedding Paper Divas, right? (Now would be the time to open a new tab…) Everything is so drop dead gorgeous so we were quite thrilled to see it in person while brunching with some blogger friends at her launch party at Ostrich Farm in LA’s Echo Park. Thanks to photog Amanda Vanvels, we’ve got a full recap…
Is it weird to obsess over an envelope liner? We say not when they’re this pretty! Details guys…
Kelly of Viva Voce whipped up these floral arrangements for the occasion and they were kinda like the real life version of Justina’s invitations. Which makes total sense if you saw J’s moodboard in our last post. She’s endlessly inspired by bohemian botanicals and the idea of blossoming and growing. A beautiful metaphor to have behind your wedding invitations, dontcha think?
Gotta have some bits of nature throughout, too.
Justina actually created many of the designs while traveling, as she often paints on planes and at cafes etc… Just a testament to the work you can create while being open to finding inspiration all around you.
