Southern weddings and blush + gold color palettes were kinda made for each other, in our opinions. The photographers at The Happy Bloom + team at Design Studio South totally embraced that softness that’s trending this time of year. Then they took things up a notch with bold splashes of color, renewing a classic theme with something a bit more modern.
This white lettering by Julia Rohde Design is seriously gorgeous.
This shoot is full of bold smoky blue satin cloth, splashes of fresh orange, and topped off with the purple-y black contrast of blackberry chocolate cake. Your blush and ivory still make themselves known but the freshness of color and fun texture makes everything feel new and exciting. 2016 is sure to be the year of new and fun color combinations, fresh contrast, and the mixing of the old and the new. Historic Wormsloe was the perfect canvas to showcase this fresh splash of spring color.
Cute ‘lil cakes are always a hit, too!
Thanks to The Happy Bloom + the crew below for packing so much pretty into one shoot.
