So this gorgy Santa Barbara setting in all these snaps by Mollie Crutcher? Turns out, the groom’s fam owns the property! It’s secluded deep in a ranch, surrounded by orchards, accommodated their guest list of 210, and other family members of theirs have tied the knot there too. Plus, with a music buff for a groom and a floral designer for a bride, you gotta believe they found a way to make it uniquely theirs.

A rustic bouquet from our florist bride: dahlias, lisianthus, eucalyptus, pepperberry, ivy vine

Josh and I are a pretty artsy couple. I create floral arrangements and he plays guitar and books local musicians all over San Diego. I love neutral weddings so our colors were lots of whites, ivorys, creams, and greens. We loved the deep bright blue of Josh’s suit, black bowtie and cognac belt/shoes. The groomsmen wore their white shirts unbuttoned with a checkered pocket square. The bridesmaids and flower girls wore long dresses to give it a boho feel. Josh booked all of the music for the wedding: violinist for ceremony and trio for cocktail hour, and I did all of the florals. Josh is half Mexican so we catered the wedding with authentic plated Mexican cuisine! More on Pinterest!

Their family built the bar on site!

Kylie tells it, Once cocktail hour had started, the sun was setting and the lights turned on, Josh and I took a second to stand onto of the hill overlooking the entire venue to see the huge party we had been planning for an entire year. We got to remove our selves just for a second to see our wedding from afar. It was magical.

My biggest wedding tip: For the entire year that you are planning, your life seems to be consumed with planning and details. It is all anyone ever talks to you about. Make an effort to have designated days/nights where you plan a bulk of wedding details – instead of talking about it with your spouse every single day.
Cheers to the happy couple!
